Glossary
A plain-language definition of Jubilee bracelet — what it is and why it matters on a Rolex.
Where the Oyster bracelet uses three flat links for a sporty, robust feel, the Jubilee uses five — with three smaller polished links in the centre — for a dressier, more flexible drape. It was designed expressly for the Datejust in 1945 and has been associated with that model ever since, though it now appears on GMT-Master IIs (the Pepsi and Batgirl) too.
Don't confuse the Jubilee with the President bracelet: the President is a separate three-piece semi-circular-link design made for the Day-Date. The Jubilee's five-link construction is its tell.
